Hi everyone — I’m currently looking for a room closer to Seattle while I attend college and work. I’ve had some unexpected family and financial circumstances come up recently, including a death in my family and my mom leaving the country. I’m currently staying with my uncle in Olympia, but the commute to school and work has become very difficult, so I’m trying to find a more practical living situation. I’m wondering if anyone knows of a homeowner, roommate, or landlord who might be open to a temporary, mutually agreed payment arrangement while I get financially stabilized. I’m absolutely willing to discuss clear expectations, a payment schedule, and put any agreement in writing so everyone is protected and comfortable with the arrangement. I’m not looking for a free place to stay — I’m looking for someone willing to work with me temporarily while I get back on solid financial footing.
