I am married, but the wife is in Long Beach, CA (about 2 hours away). Instead of paying rent for an entire apartment, I'd prefer to just get a room for the 4-5 nights a week that I plan to be in San Diego to work. I do plan to be home for the weekends and whenever I can, hence my preference for just the room. I have a dog who has his own kennel for sleeping in the evenings and would prefer to keep him with me (he goes back to Long Beach when I do)
