Summary

Room for Rent in Cozy Home – Less Than 2 Miles from Notre Dame A private room is available in a comfortable, slowly being updated home with a large backyard. Perfect for a student, young professional, or anyone looking for a quiet, convenient place close to campus. Home Highlights: • Newly renovated kitchen • 1.5 bathrooms (plans underway to convert the half bath into a second full bathroom) • Large backyard — Dogs welcome! If you have a friendly dog, I’ll use your first month’s rent to complete the fencing so they can safely enjoy the yard. • Spacious living room (rarely used by us — first-come, first-served) House Rules & Vibe: We’re easygoing, respectful, and not loud. We keep different schedules, so the house stays peaceful. A few simple rules: • No drugs or drug-related activity in the home (this is non-negotiable due to my job) • Common areas kept tidy • Heads-up before guests come over (they must also follow the no-drugs rule) You’re welcome to be social or keep to yourself — whatever works for you, as long as rent is paid on time. Rent & Utilities: • $800 per month, all utilities included (electric, water, gas, and trash) • Flexible option: $200 per week (paid in advance for the upcoming week) if that helps with cash flow • Optional weekly or bi-weekly house cleaner can be discussed after you move in Move-In: • Available immediately • Background check and ID verification required • First & last month’s rent This is a chill, drama-free home where you can feel comfortable. If you’re a responsible, clean, and respectful person, reach out — I’d love to show you the place! If you’re willing to help me clean out my garage, you can park inside with my car, if not I have a decently sized driveway.

About me

Household Vibe & Lifestyle My current roommates and I all work in tech, so our home tends to be calm, focused, and low-key. We’re generally a very quiet household. Aside from the occasional friend visiting once or twice a month, you won’t hear much noise around the house. We play video games with headphones on, keep conversations respectful, and are mindful of shared spaces. You should easily be able to watch TV, eat dinner, take calls, or unwind without interruptions. Social Energy I’m pretty flexible when it comes to roommate relationships. Some people prefer becoming close friends, others like more independent living where we mostly just say hi in passing. I’m happy to match whatever energy you bring. My current roommate is genuinely friendly and easy-going, but there are weeks where we might only have a couple short conversations — and that works great for both of us. I’m comfortable with either end of the spectrum. Sharing & House Rules I’m generally open to sharing most things in the house (kitchen items, living room space, etc.), but I do appreciate clear ground rules so everything stays respectful. For example, I bought a nice massage chair that I’m happy to share with roommates — I just ask that you shower first before using it. As long as we’re all considerate and communicate, I’ve found that sharing works out well.
