I live in Aspen Chase, off of Main St. in Amherst, MA. It's not the biggest place in the world but perfect for two people. Rent is 517.50 per person, which is great considering that everything but land phone is included. There are 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, with loads of closet space. The place is in excellent condition and very modern--every room (except for the bathroom) has cable and high-speed internet hookups. There's free parking and it's right on the busline to the UMass campus.
